Sector Specialists, Not a General Database
Thirteen sectors, each with recruiters who know what the roles actually involve. Led by BFSI, engineering and manufacturing, and IT, for clients across India and the UAE.
Overview
Which industries does Mars Consultancy hire for?
Mars Consultancy has hired across thirteen sectors for companies in India and the UAE. Our strongest are BFSI and financial services, engineering and manufacturing, and IT, and each sector has recruiters assigned to it rather than a shared pool.
That assignment is the whole difference. A generalist reads a job description; someone who hires in the sector reads what the job description left out. They know which experience genuinely transfers between employers, which qualifications cannot be negotiated at offer stage, and where candidates in that industry tend to drop out. Every sector below is a page in its own right, with the roles we fill and the parts that go wrong.
Full coverage
Which sectors are we strongest in?
BFSI, engineering and manufacturing, and IT, the three we hire in every week and the three the business was built on. The other ten sectors each have their own recruiters, role lists and hiring quirks. All thirteen link through to a page covering what the work involves.
How it works
What does sector coverage mean in practice?
Four things change when a recruiter knows the industry rather than only the job title.
See how we run a searchRecruiters are assigned by sector
The person reading your brief already knows the vocabulary, the qualification floors and which experience genuinely transfers between employers.
Sourcing runs on more than a job board
Our database, referrals and direct approach, because in most of these sectors the strongest candidates are not the ones responding to a listing.
Screening is built around the sector's failure point
Every industry loses candidates somewhere specific, at counter-offer, at the joining date, at a certification check. We screen for that point rather than running one generic process.
Experience in India and the UAE
We have hired for clients across India and in the UAE. Our deepest record is in the Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai belts, where travel time decides whether an offer below management is accepted.
Which industries does Mars Consultancy recruit for?
We recruit across thirteen sectors, led by BFSI and financial services, engineering and manufacturing, and IT. The full list also covers sales and business development, healthcare and pharma, finance and accounting, retail and e-commerce, FMCG and consumer goods, EdTech and education, energy and infrastructure, hospitality and travel, corporate support functions, and BPO or customer experience.
What does a sector-specialist recruiter actually change?
Recruiters are assigned by sector, so the person screening your shortlist understands what the role involves before the first call. In practice that means fewer profiles that look right on paper and fail in the first interview, because the mismatch is caught at screening rather than by your panel.
Do you hire for roles outside these thirteen sectors?
Yes. The thirteen are where our recruiters have the deepest sector knowledge, not a limit on what we take on. Start-ups, SMEs, mid-sized organisations and established enterprises come to us with requirements across functions, and we will say plainly if a brief sits outside what we can do well.
Can you handle volume and specialist hiring in the same sector?
Yes, and most sectors need both. A contact centre ramp and a confidential CXO replacement in the same industry are run as completely different mandates, volume hiring on throughput to the joining date, executive search on mapping and discretion.
Where has Mars Consultancy hired?
We have hired for clients across India and in the UAE. Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai is where our record is longest and our sector desks know the market street by street; elsewhere we recruit on the same process, and say plainly when a location needs a longer runway.
How do I get a sector-specific shortlist started?
Send the requirement through the contact form or email info@marsconsultancy.in. It goes to the recruiter covering that sector, and you get a response within one business day.
